Where are we heading?

Sometimes. when I stop moving with the rapid pace of the world and take a look around for a little bit, i realize that the world is moving at a very rapid pace. There are PROS and CONS to the statement i made above (even though the sad part is that the CONS exceed the PROS)..

On the POSITIVE side, i believe that the technological development in today's world along with merging of cultures together (with emergence of globalization of businesses and education), our humanity is moving forward with great pace... The technological advancements in just the past decade exceeds that of the last 50 years or so.. This to me is one of the greatest advancements and acheivements of our human existence.

On the NEGATIVE side, i believe the growing terrorism in the world and man's excessive greedy nature amounting to the environmental pollution and other negative effects are growing concerns for the mankind's future survival. There are a myriad issues which is plaguing the world today and challenging our own existence in the future... To name a few, the terrorist activities reached a peak high yesterday when ex-Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, has been assassinated by the ruthless and cruel terrorist organization called Al-Qaeda. The great US of A claims that it is fighting the terrorism and it's been doing so, since 2001 more actively, but nothing seems to come-out productive for them.

I believe that the basic definition of terrorism as given by USA and other developed countries is greatly flawed. To them, the terrorism means an organization, such as an Al-Qaeda or JeM or LeT etc., My question is, how can you end the terrorism by fighting and stopping a specific organization?, where-in the recruitment and funding to those organizations is taking place from amongst the normal public?? Terrorism is the result of an idea or concept cropped out of certain people among the public. All the countries must spend time to tackle this issue and start educating people on the negative effects of terrorism on the country and on human existence as a whole. Terrorism can be ended if one can stop the recruitment into those organizations from normal public with effective and healthy measures.. There is no way that anyone can win a war on terrorism by going on a war with them.

The other main negative factor of today's world is excessive greediness and dis-respect towards the environment (and also each other to some degree) we are living in. There is no respect for the nature, and no respect towards each other and today's man is spending most of the time in acquiring fortunes and he has no time to look at the nature and protect it.

Even though, Technology is growing at a rapid pace (which definitely has good and bad points to it) and we are moving from chips to holographic storage arena, do you think our human existence, can sustain and survive the ill-effects and extreme dangers caused by growing terrorism and excessive greediness among the people?

Unedited footage of our Celebration at my Residence

Folks, Below is the unedited footage of the celebration at our residence in Hyderabad. The first part of this video has been cut and has been already posted in this blog earlier... but i've noticed that the audio has been missing from it and there are some other features lost in that.. That is the reason why i decided to post this full, unedited footage of the celebration..

N.B: Please note that the second half of the video has been shot by Sai Charan (he is actually oblivious to the fact that the camcorder is turned ON and he is of the impression that the camcorder was turned OFF and that he is just carrying it in his hands... i hope this part will bring a giggle to you all as well!!!!)

A small Celebration at home
